Dietary Fiber

Dietary Fiber

As you have noticed, I keep saying that dark green leafy
vegetables are among the healthiest of all foods, for the
mineral content.

Today I also want to talk about leafy green vegetables as
having a high fiber content.

In addition to important nutrients, vegetables is a rich
source of insoluble fiber. This insoluble fiber, found
in abundance in the vegies, has long been associated with
protecting the heart from damage.

Fiber also helps things move along in your colon. This
way, you don't get constipated and toxic. All important
reasons to eat your fiber rich vegetables. Don't skimp,
use several servings a day for best health.
