Dry Skin

Dry Skin

Don't you hate the dry skin that usually pops up in the
winter time?

I have two suggestions for you today. One: make sure to
drink plenty of water. Sometimes water will help. I usually
suggest one quart of water for every 50 pounds of weight. So
if you weighed 150 pounds, you would need to drink 3 quarts
of water a day.

Second: are you using some good oils each day? I usually suggest
that people take some cod liver oil or flax seed oil. Not only
does it lubricate your joints, it helps your skin to be healthier
and less dry. When on good oils for a few weeks many notice
younger looking skin, that is less dry.

For anyone with a hypo thyroid, often skin will tend to be dry.
If you have a known problem, see your doctor or health practitioner.

Any lotions that have alpah-hydroxy acids in them are good for
dry skin. It can heal cracks as well as prevent cracks in the
skin, when used over time.
