Computer For Handicapped
I found something amazing. Have you ever known anyone
who was a quadropelegic, without the use of their arms
or legs?
Or maybe they can't move at all, or speak
because of a stroke. They may think clearly... but are
locked into a silent world in which they can't express
themselves. A very frustrating world.
Science has progressed to the point that you could use,
if you suffered in this way, a brain computer interface
which digitalizes brain signals emitted as electrical impulses
which is picked up by the electrodes in the cap on your head
and conveys the intent to the computer to type out your sentences.
Can you imagine the possibilities this will open up to people with
these kind of handicaps? This will give people back the ability
to communicate, which is so important.
